THE GLORY RISING
PHASE-BY-PHASE PROGRESS OF RCCG GLORY PRODUCERS’ SANCTUARY AUDITORIUM.
The building of the RCCG Glory Producers’ Sanctuary (RCCG-GPS) is a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the dedication of every member and partner.
Journey with us through the key milestones that have brought us to where we are today.
Phase 1: The Foundation of Faith (Completion)
The initial, crucial stage of laying and completing the foundation represented the physical anchoring of our vision. This phase demanded rigorous effort, precise engineering, and the spiritual conviction that we were laying a strong base for generations of worshippers and prayer warriors. The completed foundation stands today as a solid testament to the commitment of our pioneers and early contributors.
Phase 2: Building the Walls of Worship (Blocks to Lintel)
With the foundation secured, we transitioned to setting the blocks and raising the structure heavenward. Every block laid was a step of faith, defining the spacious interiors of the Sanctuary. This phase culminated in the completion of the lintel level, providing the final structural support necessary before moving to the roof, signifying that the physical shell of the main auditorium was fully realized.
Phase 3: Shielding the Structure (Roofing Completion)
The completion of the roofing was a major breakthrough, signaling the protection of the Sanctuary from the elements and allowing focused work to begin on the interiors. The roof provides not just shelter, but represents the spiritual covering over this hallowed ground—a promise that the vision is irreversible.
Phase 4: Filling the Sanctuary (A Covenant of Labor)
This phase was defined by a powerful convergence of labor and celebration during the preparation for the GPS 8th Year Anniversary (2023).
Altar Filling: The filling of the Altar space was a symbolic act of consecration, done joyfully by committed members, including the vibrant participation of the RCCG-GPS Corpers’ Fellowship.
Eradicating the Forest: During this same period, members, workers, ministers, and the pastorate united to permanently eradicate the forest area beside the church. This act of communal labor eliminated surrounding obstacles, creating space for future expansion and ensuring the physical integrity of the Sanctuary grounds.
Phase 5: Essential Comfort (Toilets/Restrooms)
In ensuring the comfort and dignity of every worshipper, this phase involved the successful construction and preparation of the male and female toilet/restroom facilities. This critical project ensures that every detail of the Sanctuary experience is conducive to worship and focus.
Phase 6: Consecrating the High Place (Altar Tiling)
The tiling of the Altar marked a significant step in the beautification and sanctification of the most important space in the Sanctuary. We celebrate the mighty hand of God working through specific members who were moved to sponsor and execute this critical beautification project. The Altar now awaits the Glory Producers.
Phase 7: Reaching for the Heavens (Ceiling Installation)
The installation of the ceiling brought a sense of completion and warmth to the main auditorium. This major aesthetic and structural undertaking were another testimony to divine provision, executed by God through the generous contributions of dedicated members. The ceiling transforms the space, enhancing acoustics and focusing attention.
Phase 8: Preparing the Next Generation (Children’s Auditorium Partition)
Focused on our mandate to raise future glory producers, this phase involved the partitioning of the Children’s Auditorium. Creating dedicated, welcoming, and functional spaces for our children ensures that the next generation is nurtured and taught in an environment tailored to their needs.
Phase 9: Finishing Touch (Plastering and Current Tiling)
We are now in the final intensive push to finalize the interior look and feel of the Sanctuary
Plastering: The completion of internal and external plastering has smoothed and prepared the structure for painting and final finishes.
Sanctuary Tiling (Current Focus): We celebrate the current, ongoing work of the main church tiling. This phase is transforming the auditorium floor into a beautiful, lasting surface for worship. Every tile laid brings us visibly closer to the dedication day!
